NO MORE PENCILS, NO MORE BOOKS... SUMMER FUN!

"Into the Surf"

Watercolor Sea Shore Limited Edition Fine Art Print

By Artist Barbara Rosenzweig

8x10 print in a 11x14 mat - $27 (shipping included)

My exuberant scene shows the wonderful vitality of a child excited to be at the beach. It will brighten up any child's room or a home at the shore!

My little guy is one popular kid!! He's been featured in 5 terrific Etsy Treasuries in the past few days! I guess that his exuberance makes us all just want to rush into the surf with him!

BEACH DAY!

The talented Debbie Shirley, curator of ShirleyArt, is "Celebrating Fine Art Friday at the beach!!" with my little surf boy painting joining in the fun!

CHILDREN ON BOARD

Curator Vince of TellTaleCreations writes about this adorable collection of children's items, "A magical time." He said of my "Boy in the Surf" painting, that it "fit perfectly" into his treasury and that he loved my shop! How kind!

NO MORE PENCILS, NO MORE BOOKS...
Curator Amy G of cuteasasilverbotton of this great collection said, "It's SUMMER (in Philadelphia)! Yes, and with temperatures in the 90's, we're ready for summertime FUN, like in my painting of the little boy heading exuberantly into the surf!

LET'S GO OUTSIDE & PLAY!
The curator of this playful Treasury is from cegibbon. Lots to look at (although one of the items is already sold!) here. Enjoy!

I love the hot pinks of this collection curated by the owner of PetCollage. The items here make me smile!

Bucks County Designer House & Gardens

Old Glory Farm, an 18^th century fieldstone manor home in Doylestown, was open from May 1 to May 29.  Its modern updates are well integrated in this historic home. The gardens were expansive and beautiful, while decorators did a wonderfully creative job to each of the rooms of the house. (No photographs were permitted inside the home.)

This is a fund-raiser run by the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown to support Doylestown Hospital and V.I.A. Community Projects. For information for next year’s tour, visit www.buckscountydesignerhouse.org.

 "Beach Chair with Sarong"

Limited Edition Landscape

Matted Watercolor Fine Art Reproduction

By Artist Barbara Rosenzweig

8x10 print in a 11x14 mat - $27

What a great way to relax! Just imagine yourself sitting in that Adirondak chair with your feet in the surf, watching the ocean and its endless waves - total peace! This painting makes a wonderful gift for that very special person or used to decorate your own paradise at home ! It looks great grouped with my other beach and sea shell paintings!

Curator from L'Alchemie is the creator of this wonderful collection with such a creative theme. She included my painting "Beach Chair with Sarong."  One person commented, "Can I please spend the day in that chair?" I'm ready for it, too!

WHAT THE ...HELLEBORE!

Never thought that I’d ever say this, but I do love my hellebores! For over 35 years, I didn’t plant these gems because the lovely blossoms faced down instead of up. I know; dumb reason! Then I started seeing newer hybrids that somewhat faced sideways and were varied colors and shapes. Finally, I just couldn’t resist!

If you have a shaded area, do try these since they not only have long-lasting blossoms, but the leaves stay a wonderful glossy green throughout much of the year. Enjoy!

ABOUT BOTANIC

"Magnolias in Gold"

Floral Limited Edition Watercolor Print

By Artist Barbara Rosenzweig

11x14 print in a 16x20 mat - $48 (shipping included)

These softly colored pastel magnolias are set in a golden background giving it a glow that is luminous. This elegant painting will look absolutely stunnning in your home, especially if it's Tuscan decor!

Curator of XYouZ from Paris, France, created this collection of lovely, softly colored botanical paintings and photographs. It's a shame that Etsy cut off the top and bottom of my painting (below, left), looking kind of strange, but you can see the whole painting above. Enjoy!

MACRO FRIDAY in MY GARDEN

Love taking pictures of my garden beauties, especially now that my kids are not around here to be photographed! These blossoms are a constant inspiration for my watercolor paintings. Even in the dead of winter, I can be back in the garden when I check out these reference photos while I paint.

"Strawberries & Silver Salt Shakers"

Watercolor Still Life Limited Edition Fine Art Reproduction

By Artist Barbara Rosenzweig

I enjoy using silver to capture colorful reflections, especially the vivid reds of strawberries. This amazingly detailed original watercolor painting will look wonderful in any sophisticated dining area.

Curator Emily King of sitesorted wrote, "Fruits of the artists to feast your eyes on. I just love the colours used in these paintings." I totally agree! This is one of the most vibrantly colored collections of artwork I've seen in a while. I feel honored to have my painting among these beauties!
