Love taking pictures of my garden beauties, especially now that my kids are not around here to be photographed! These blossoms are a constant inspiration for my watercolor paintings. Even in the dead of winter, I can be back in the garden when I check out these reference photos while I paint.

Beautiful photographs. Can see where you get your inspiration from. Enjoy the weekend Barbara. Annette x
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so jealous of your red peonies! Wonder if I could ask your advice? I have some daisies...not sure of the exact name. They are over a foot tall already. Last year they got so tall that they fell over. Should I cut them back now? Also, I read somewhere that you should cut back black eyed susans. What do you think? Hope you have a great LOOONG weekend! ~Ann
