POMEGRANATES

The pomegranate is mentioned in ancient texts of the Bible and Homer. It's valued for its beauty and versatility as a fruit with medicinal qualities, It also is a symbol of prosperity, fruitfulness, and ambition, with many myths and religious meanings ascribed to it. That's what drew me to create this watercolor, showing the stunning fruit growing on its small tree. I hope that you enjoy the fine art reproduction made from my original painting.

PINK HIBISCUS WATERCOLOR PAINTING

by Barbara Rosenzweig

I love getting right into the most dramatic part of the flower! The deep contrasts, the vibrant colors, the unique textures and folds all make for a wonderful addition to your home. You are seeing the macro view of a hibiscus just about to unfurl its petals! Great for every flower lover! This fine art reproduction is from my original painting. What a knock-out!!

BOY INTO THE SURF

by Barbara Rosenzweig

My exuberant scene shows the pure childish delight at being on the beach. I tried to capture his sense of freedom and absolute joy! It will brighten up any child's room or a home at the shore! This is the perfect companion piece to "Girl into the Surf!"

DISTANT SHORE WATERCOLOR

by Barbara Rosenzweig

This painting creates a feeling of looking off across the ocean to a distant, barely perceptible coast with its golden cliffs. The stylized waves were inspired by 18th – 19th Japanese artist Hokusai’s “The Great Wave.”

Midnight
Curator Megan Martin from SpiceofLifeDesigns created this visually stunning collection of midnight blue handmade and fine art items. I'm honored to have my Distant Shore watercolor here!
