COUNTRY VILLAGE - New Watercolor Painting

Years ago, I traveled with my young family to the Cotswolds in England. It was an enchanting place with picturesque, narrow winding lanes of half-timbered homes featuring bright red geraniums and red rose bushes. I finally got around to giving it a try with my watercolors. It looked really hard to paint - and it was! It was probably the most challenging painting that I've ever done.

I just couldn't help myself and had to work on my painting again! The top left part of this painting really bothered me. I realized that I had to adjust the angle of the bricks and the shape of the shadow on the top left window. NOW IT IS FINISHED!

    Definitely worth all the effort Barbara! I don't live too far away from the Cotswolds, and it's definitely one of my favourite spots in the UK. Glad you enjoyed it, and have this lovely momento to share with us. Thanks.

    Oh lovely!

    I have some watercolors I bought years ago on my single trip 'across the pond'!

    I wonder where I've packed them!

    I suspect they're not as pretty as your work, though!
