MUREX SEASHELL PAINTING

by Barbara Rosenzweig

This Murex is one of my favorite seashells! I love all of its soft pink, purple and amber tones, its distinctive spikes, textures, and valleys, and its luminous translucent shell. I tired to capture just that for YOU! This fine art reproduction makes a wonderful companion piece to my Chambered Nautilus, Knobbed Whelk, and Sea Urchin.

  2. This is very pretty, I had gone to our local botanical garden and they had a lovely shell painted with floral inside, I took a photo so I can copy it using one of the conkshells I have. This is a beautiful, you sure did capture the beauty of it.

  6. Oh my.

Your seashells are so beautiful crafted. That flow of translucent color perfectly captures the way I see one in my hand.

Thanks for the wonderful link this week.
