Sitting quietly with my morning coffee, I started playing with my food - something my mother emphatically told me as a kid not to do! But the color combinations were so lovely and the arrangement so appealing, I decided to paint this serene scene. My original framed painting would look great in your kitchen or make a wonderful housewarming gift!

This striking sunflower painting was inspired by a trip to Tuscany. I love the flower's varying shades of golden yellow with the russet browns of the seeds. A trip to the beach is always delightful! This feathered friend was happy to pose for me. As the sun was starting to set, I watched this Royal Tern, with its soft, gray and white feathers, gaze serenely into the distance, unbothered by me.
