POMEGRANATE FRUIT WATERCOLOR

The pomegranate is mentioned in ancient texts of the Bible and Homer. It's valued for its beauty and versatility as a fruit with medicinal qualities, It also is a symbol of prosperity, fruitfulness, and ambition, with many myths and religious meanings ascribed to it. That's what drew me to create this watercolor, showing the stunning fruit growing on its small tree. I hope that you enjoy the fine art reproduction made from my original painting.

BEACHED SAILBOAT - NEW PAINTING

What a majestic sight! Walking along the beach on Florida's Gulf Coast, I spotted this beached catamaran sitting alone, silently, gently tilting with the soft waves. I tried to capture this lovely moment in my original watercolor painting. This gem would look wonderful in your home, a reminder of a special vacation or just a peaceful vision.

FARM IN FALL

Framed Original Landscape Watercolor Painting

These bright red stables and the early fall leaves were so inspiring, that I just had to paint this colorful scene! My framed original watercolor will be a wonderful addition to your home whether it's rustic, rural, traditional, modern, or just plain cozy!

Owner of TildaChic curated this beautiful treasury and wrote, "The quiet life on the farm....Caring for chickens, growing tomatoes. I LOVE IT" I love the wonderful color combinations and that she included my Farm in Fall painting in it!

BEACH DAY

Limited Edition Matted Watercolor
Fine Art Reproduction
By Artist Barbara Rosenzweig

The Chambered Nautilus' beautifully intricate patterns of brown jagged lines on its cream-colored shell always inspires me. I especially love its pearlized "eye." This very jewel of Nature makes a very special gift for a vacation shore home, especially when grouped with my other shell paintings! Or you can create a tropical paradise right in your own home!

Curator Jessica Torrant of JessicaTorrant says, "Celebrating Fine Art Friday with beachy finds from the Finding Fine Art team." I'm so honored to have my "Chambered Nautilus"  included in this great art collection!

"THE ROSE BOWL" WATERCOLOR PROGRESSES

This week, I finally found the time to continue working on my bowl of roses watercolor painting.  My inspiration is the rose bush that gives me a continuous bounty of blossoms from spring until late autumn.

I started this time with deepening the shadows of the petals to give more excitment and depth to the flowers. I've also lightened the tips of some petals to show where the light would hit it.

The bowl is even more of a challenge. I'm trying to capture its rustic look, show the light and reflections of the petals, and give a sense of the surface textures.

I'm welcoming all suggestions!
